The purpose of this website is to pass on solutions to problems. Very simply, it covers solutions to many maintenance problems, life problems, and world problems that an individual, organization, or nation may have. I realize that is a big task and tall order. However, as you look over the practical solutions that are presented here, you will find that they make a lot of sense. You will be glad that someone put them down in a reasonable, logical order that is simple to understand. These solutions are based upon over 45 years as a maintenance “fix-it” guy, combined with over 45 years as a Bible believing Christian.

My life's testimony verse is Deuteronomy 2:7

“For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand:

he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness:

these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee;

thou hast lacked nothing.”

The purpose of this website is not to give detailed instructions on every piece of equipment that you may be called upon to repair. It would be nice to have a set of graphs and charts for everything with the steps all laid out. In the technical world this is impossible. Many times, the designers and manufacturers of the equipment don’t even have the solutions or reasons things fail. Often the equipment is too recently invented to know everything that will go wrong. Many times it is installed incorrectly!

Other problems are the same. It would be nice to have a list of what to do and what not to do when any situation arises. Although there are lists in the Bible; for example: The Ten Commandments. However, a successful life is not just checking off items on a list! Life is about serving and enjoying God! Walking with God is not just following a list or asking for Him to do something. The Bible solutions to man's problems are revealed over time as one spends time believing It and following Its precepts!

The purpose of this website is to give tips and change the thinking of the service technician and Christian on how to approach problems and failures in the service world as well as in life. What I have tried to do is tell the actual stories of things that I have had to fix, analyze the mistakes, failures, and successes, and give advice on "fixing" things. I have tried to show that the way to fix things also applies to all problems, not just maintenance issues.

Sometimes you must learn things on your own because a teacher is not available. I like the internet because of the knowledge that is available. However, I am cautious of what I find there because there are many things that are just not true.

One of the hazards of the internet is the abundance of knowledge that is available. It is easy to find answers to questions. The problem is figuring out which are good and right answers! Just gaining knowledge is not the key to success. Sometimes, as Eve found out, getting the wrong knowledge can be destructive. There is an acronym, TMI, that stands for Too Much Information. What good is a wrong answer? (Except to avoid it!) I am reminded of Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25, which God repeated for a reason, that expresses this thought:

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

I used to get a lot of knowledge by just reading books. Many of the books were technical, with drawings that had to be deciphered. I used to like having the designers’ thoughts and suggestions available. It is much harder now with my bad eyesight, but I still refer to the instructions and installation paperwork that comes with a new device. I love "how to" books. The idea is to pass on these "lessons learned" so that you can find the solutions and not make the same mistakes! The thing that you, the interested reader will do, is to learn from my experience so that you will be successful in any endeavor that God has for you to do. It is important to know and realize that the best “fix it”, “How to” book in the universe is the Bible. It is not laid out in a 1,2,3, step process, but must be read, meditated on, and re-read over again. The main purpose of that Book is so that the reader will spend time with the Author, who has all the solutions to all the problems!

What this experience has taught me and what has led to my success at “fixing” things, has been God opening the Bible to me as the “greatest How-to Book” in this vast Universe.

I am constantly amazed at the information that is contained in that Book!

One of the things that I have learned is that there are dead end roads! A person can spend a lot of time, energy, thoughts, feelings, and actions which result in dead ends. Wrong roads, even ones that seem like the right roads, lead to destruction! It is the same with solutions. Wrong solutions end up creating more problems than they solve.

So…Please learn from The Bible and my mistakes. Please, don’t make the same stupid mistakes yourself!

Even if you are an experienced Bible reader, you will gain insight into things observed from the view of a maintenance tech. I had a missionary one time tell me that when he read the Bible, he kept seeing God as a missionary God. As a maintenance tech looking for solutions to problems, I view the Bible as The Answer Book! I have noticed that God reveals things out of the Bible to people based upon their purpose in life. That book is so powerful, God keeps revealing things to people who love Him and believe His Word! Consider these tips as a helping hand to help you figure out why you are here, how to be successful while you are here, and end up at the right place at the right time!

Unfortunately, the Bible is not looked upon as having the solutions. Most of the time “Educated” people make fun of the mistakes and errors in the Bible. Even educated Christians may have been wrongly taught that there are mistakes in the Bible.

If you stop right here, you will miss the solutions that are available to even the seemingly, unsolvable problems you are facing. Please approach these solutions, presented in an interesting way, with an open mind. It just may be possible I know what I am writing about! These solutions are given as examples to help you figure out what exactly the problem is that you are facing, why God has given you the problem, and the solution or way out! Even if you don’t believe me or think I don’t have a clue, please believe God, and look for the solutions in His Word!

The best advice I can give you is to pray, read your Bible, tell others about Jesus, and live for God! Please keep referring to the things taught in this website as I continue to post solutions! May you find the perfect will of God for your life and end up even happier and more successful than me!

For me, there is nothing more satisfying than taking something that is broken and repairing it! Finding something that is not working and replacing a part or redesigning how it works is a challenge that is worthwhile. The reason I started this website was to pass on over 45 years of knowledge “fixin’ things”. If you follow these steps, you will be able to fix any problem that comes your way.

This world is broken and needs “fixin’.” This website is dedicated to finding the correct solutions to the problems people face. There are correct solutions. God has revealed these solutions in the Bible. I spend a considerable amount of time looking for these solutions and presenting them here.

My older brother told me one time to not ever think I had the answer to everything. I don't always take his advice, but I have on this. I don't have the answer or solutions to every problem you may be facing. I have learned and believe that the Bible has the answers and solutions! After spending my teenage years making mistake after mistake, I have tried to spend the rest of my life finding out and practicing God's solutions. I have found Him to right 100% of the time.

I am a little discouraged. It is frustrating to have the solutions to many problems and then watching those that have the authority to implement them keep making the same mistakes over and over again!
